This was my 3rd time doing BioSite but last time i thought it I taught about chickens and now I was going to teach about watersheds. I don't know anything about watershed and i was nervous because I was like how am I going to teach some 4th graders about watershed when I didn't know anything about it. When Bireit came she gave us information about watershed but it wasn't enough and that's when I decide to look up things about watershed. My Partners and I started doing research on watershed and we found a lot so now I had a idea of what a watershed was and what it did and how it worked, but we had to have a activity for the 4th graders and I don't know what type of activity and Maria told me that she knew what a watershed was so I asked her if she knew what type of activity we can do and she told me that we can do an activity where the 4th graders get a piece of paper and crumple it up and then trace the crumbles and then spray it and everyone was already doing that but we went ahead and decide to do it but the thing was that I was looking up activities on google and i found one where the we can make a 3d model of a mountain representing watershed and i decide to ask Mr. Bursch but he said we wouldn't have that much time and he said we couldn't do it. Now it was the first day we were going to teach the 4 graders and i was confident because it wasn't my first time and we started to set up just waiting for the 4th graders to arrive and then they all got here the kid that were in our station came to us and we started teaching and right of the top all of our confidence went down and we started messing up for all of our groups and i was upset because i taught it would've been better but it wasn't it also wasn't that bad but it wasn't the best but I do feel like our kids learn what watershed was but i wasn't proud of the job I have done. Now that was my third experience in BioSite.
