Karishma Post #1

Prior to teaching the fourth graders, there were some preparations to be done. Every Tuesday, during tutorial, we would meet in Mr. Bursch's classroom to discuss and learn about what needs to be done for our two teaching days. Unfortunately, I could only teach on one day. We would go over the material that we would be teaching the kids. We first started with flower dissection. It was unfortunate that, that one specific Tuesday was the one day I was sick and missed class. However, I was able to figure it out quickly. The next BioSite day, Biret was not there so we had some time to catch up on the previous week. The next two weeks were spent learning more teaching material such as the worm discovery and water sheds. It was quite exciting. The next week after leaning all our material, we got into our group. I was lucky enough to get a subject I liked... flower dissection. Our group constructed a lesson plan that would be both equally fun and entertaining as well as insightful and information packed. Once our lesson plan was constructed, our group was ready for the big day!
