Prep and Training
While prepping for bio site, I had my group thought out but sadly due to their classes, they could not join me. However, I got into a group with Tianna, Santiago, and Andreas. To prep, we had to show up to all biosite meetings on Tuesdays and learn our subject. My group and I chose to do the worms because those seem the most fun and I know how to make kids learn and have fun at the same time. We learned about how to be gentle with the worms and how to ask questions to the kids and not telling. We received a sheet of paper that showed us fun facts and the anatomy of the worms. Our lesson plan consisted of our introduction, asking the kids question about worms before telling and showing the kids the worms anatomy and body parts. Also telling them facts and while they examine the worms, we ask them more questions and how they feel about the worms. I believed we would be fine and have a great time.
