After my group and I taught the fourth graders we learned that they know a lot more about science the we thought they did. For example, our first group came up with a lot of good observations while doing the seed dissection. the kids really enjoyed looking at the microscope and getting a better look at the seeds and leaves. Something I would change in our lesson is to engage more with the students. I would also like them to write more in their journals so they don't forget all the little things we mentioned during the presentation. Suprisingly the fourth graders were very well behaved and participated every time we asked them questions.
