Before we started to teach fourth graders about biology we had to go through many training classes to get ready. On every Tuesday for about five weeks we learned a new lesson that we would teach the young children. We were taught lessons about worms, water sheds, and ways to compost. At the end of all the lessons we got to chose the one we wanted to teach to the kids. I chose the water sheds because it was a fun lesson and a way to get the kids to think about the environment around them. To get ready to teach the children we reviewed our lesson and went over what we were going to teach them. We chose the activity of making our own mini water sheds and teach them how o take care of it. Also we reviewed ways of how to talk to the kids because we knew they were only in fourth grade so they were not as educated as us so we would need to speak to them in a different tone and with different syntax.
