How Does Our Garden Grow?

On Wednesday me and my team went to check on our seed project. Well for sure I can't call them seeds anymore. Our plant was really tall it was about three foot high! To be completely honest it's a bit difficult to find who's is which plants because they are all the same height and look alike. We  know that the growing of our plants is caused by photosynthesis, cell division, and cellular respiration. Our plants grow because there is more cells being produced inside of them that makes them be the height they are right know. Our plants are able to give us oxygen by taking it the carbon dioxide we breathe out. During photosynthesis plants convert the sun's energy into chemical energy. This is then captured within the bonds of carbon molecules built from atmosphere carbon dioxide and water. The plants use this energy in only some of the carbon molecules they make for activities to be able to keep themselves alive and be able to reproduce. This is what cellular respiration is. After this process glucose is left over. These molecules are used to form the structure of plants.
