Practicing

      Before actually doing biocite we learned about the activities we were doing. For us we had the seed dissection / about the seed. We had backpacks that had our tools like a magnifying glass and more. We made sure that we knew what the tools could be used for and how we could use them during the activities.During our practice we laid out how we were going to present to the kids and what activities we were going to do. For us we did the picture cards first, actually do the dissection, then explain the parts we had. We’d try to memorize the facts. From there that’s all we really did and we focused on ways the kids could interact during the activities. We would also pretend as if we were presenting just to see how things would work and such. That’s all we really did.
