        Preparation

     Bio site was a success! I really enjoyed preparing for this new experience it was something new and wonderful. My group and I put a lot of thought into our Watershed topic.  We took our lesson plan and we each took an activity to teach. We did some research on our own because we wanted to be experts on our topic. We came to very Bio Site tutorial meeting to share our new ideas and research. Before the fourth graders came in we took sometime to do a quick run down of our activities and lecture time. This helped us to maintain calm and organized during our teaching time.  We organized the students in a certain order so they can see our supplies and examples clearly. They sat in the benches under the pine tree near the garden. This area was quiet and it allowed them to concentrate on what they were doing.

    Our Teaching experience 

      Personally I really enjoy teaching and learning with younger students. I believe my whole group did as well! I was full of anxiety before the students arrived but everything seemed to fad away as I took charge with the first activity. This was my first time teaching for Bio site, and I can say it was fantastic. I had such an incredible time socializing with the fourth graders, they worked diligently. Overall, it was so much fun because every group of kids were different and they made our experience exciting and surprising. It was cool that the students knew about our topic of watersheds. I will never forget this amazing experience. It taught everyone different social and teaching skills.
