In preparation of our teaching day, we went to our past experiences for a refreshment on the way that the 4th graders behave. This happened to come in very handy once the kids showed up. (They're always rowdier than you expect). When we weren't thinking over our past teaching experiences, we were busy memorizing our parts. I memorized the parts of the flower and their roles in attracting pollinators, etc. our preparation was very simple, but, in the end, was productive, seeing as we completed the lesson in a way that the kids could not just understand, but enjoy. And in the end of the day. That's what really matters.
