I signed up for this project because I thought it would be a fun learning experience for me and hopefully get me to weaken my dislike for children. It was pretty fun, but I still am not very fond of kids. The preparation for my team was very sluggish and it wasn't until he hit a week before we were supposed to teach the kids that we started the really pull together our lesson plan. Before then, we knew what we would teach, but he hadn't compiled an organized lesson. Despite our procrastination, we still threw together a really nice lesson for the kids and I believe there were only a few things about it that could have been improved. We practiced what we would say to the kids and the order in which we would do so, and overall we had a pretty solid lesson ready for the kids. The only thing left to do was wait until the day we taught the children and remember everything we had worked hard on.
