For the flower dissection there where about 10 forth graders in each group. Firstly we asked them if they knew any basic parts of the flowers anatomy. Then after we went over the basic structure of a flower we introduced the flowers reproductive system. Then we showed the forth graders how to correctly use the microscopes to look at the flowers up close. After that we asked if they knew any pollinators and why they think they where important in everyday activities, and if they answered correctly we would give then an orange.
