The activity

The day of bio-site right before the kids got there we diced up the fruits that we were going to feed the chickens that were for the activity and we set up the worms and the crickets and we were just doing final preperation. When the kids got there we introduced ourselves to them and they introduced themselves to us.The first thing we did was ask them what they already knew about the chickens and we had them predict whether or not the chickens will eat certain food and after that we talked about how the chickens also have personal likes and dislikes.I was pretty nervous at the first rotation because it was pretty much the first time I ever taught a group of fourth graders.After the first rotation I was not as nervous because I got the hang of it .I was pretty happy knowing that the kids learned some information and got to have some fun.If there was a program like this at school I would join it because i found out that it was actually fun and informative.
