Reflection (Post 2)

Overall, my team was enthralled with the curiosity and energy that the students had to offer while in our groups. The students were extremely polite, and well educated on the topic of composting. They kept composure and attention the entire time we spent working with them, which made it an absolute pleasure to collaborate and teach them. Our team agreed that the first rotation was challenging because we didn't know what to expect and we felt as if we were boring our students, but by the second rotation we were well prepared and comfortable. The third and last rotation felt very rushed to due to the changing of weather, but there was nothing to do but let it happen naturally and it ended up working out. I think as a whole, my team and I did a really great job with our rotations of fourth graders. We had so much fun having conversations with them and watching them grow excited with the topics we covered and the activities we had them participate in. It is refreshing to see much joy and optimism in these young students, which may reflect to optimism in our own lives.
