To get prepared for the fourth graders visit the compost team did a lot of things. At first we came up with different types of activities we could do with them. We decided to do two main activities: a bingo scavenger hunt and a timeline game. We chose these activities because we believed it would’ve been the best fit for the Booksin students. We created a bingo sheet that would be used by the students and they would search through the compost pile for different types of living organisms. The timeline activity consisted of cards with different objects on them, the students would then get a card and line up in the order they believe the objects would fully decompose.
