Experience

My experience with BioSITE has shown me so much. For example, how much children love to learn about animals. Also, that not every student learns the same way. Some learn what chickens eat by feeding the chickens themselves, watching others feed the chickens, drawing what the chickens are eating, or writing it all down. BioSITE has opened my eyes and showed me how much effort you have to put in to teach so the students will learn. It was challenging to think of fun activities we thought they would enjoy and also how to explain everything so they would understand it all. It was very fun to watch how there eyes glowed when they finally picked up a chicken or when they were a bit scared to hold the meal worms, but they did it and fed it to the chickens. I feel that our group did very well on showing the Booksin kids how to handle chickens and their chicken lives. I wish we could have shown them one the chickens eggs but the hen was much to protective of it. Its okay. No harm no fowl. Haha get it?
